Experience the pitfalls and find a good solution
What is Change Game?
Change Game is a live simulation of a change process. Not just a game, but a learning experience in a safe environment, on how to avoid the pitfalls in a change process. Change is often complex, with many obstacles along the way. 70% of all change projects fail before completion.
Change Game offers you and other managers the opportunity to explore what is needed to follow through on the changes required and complete the change process effectively and efficiently.
Imagine you are making changes to a Consultancy…
You and your team represent a Consultancy company. Whilst playing the game you find out that business is not as streamlined as you thought. Is work being done effectively and efficiently? Are your clients satisfied? A change is needed, but how to go about it? Who should take the initiative, and how would you inspire your employees and clients?
In Change Game, you experience the dynamics of the change process. It shows you how to direct and work through the process. A real-life example of the importance of foundation and commitment, whilst experiencing the emotions that play a role, the resistance…
What previous participants took away from the game
What will participants gain?
During this simulation, it becomes evident which change initiatives and interventions work better than others. You experience the most common pitfalls and how to overcome these. What makes one employee enthusiastic whilst others show firm resistance, and what is the best way to address this? Change Game offers the opportunity to have a trial run in a safe environment, before using the acquired knowledge and skills to guide a successful change project.

With the help of CustomerGames, the management of Generali Insurance embarked on an organised, intensive development journey. This went way beyond just playing the game. The aspects of leadership, lean management and teamwork were all intertwined in a logical and flexible way. The facilitators proved to be energetic and proactive, continuously connecting with the group to reach the best results. It was a pleasant and successful collaboration.
I am still amazed how strongly the simulation affects your behaviour. You really feel the stress! Very informative, but also fun.
This simulation made me realise you have to be very precise when implementing a change. I have personally experienced a variety of emotions: such as resistance, the ‘not involved here’ syndrome, anger about the way of communication, and the lack of control. Top.
It has been intensive, and in my opinion this game mimics a real-life scenario very well.
This very realistic simulation opened my eyes to how it feels not to be involved in the development of my own process.
